What is writing to you?

To me, its hope. No matter where you come from, what language you speak, the color of your skin or your gender. None of this matters. You can write. You can even write things that might change the world!

They say the pen is mightier than the sword and this is not, and will never be, a joke. You can write things that change a nation and it has been done many times.

Shakespeare, Lincoln, King. I don't even have to say their first names. These are people who changed the world with something as simple as writing. Words can have passion. We all have the ability to pick up a pen, pencil, crayon, computer, cell phone, a stick and some sand, and write what we want.
